In 2015, a group of In 2015, a group of passionate students at Rutgers University laid the foundation for RU MSA Submissions, hoping to establish a place that nurtures art through the lens of Muslims. Today, this vision lives on as part of the Submissions Magazine, driven by a team of brilliant students. Our primary goal is to serve as a creative space in the Muslim community at Rutgers, so that Muslim artists and writers can collaborate, coexist, and include the remembrance of Allah SWT through their individual ways. 

We believe that everyone has something to bring to the table, whether through words, colors, or any form of expression. We believe this step is crucial in giving art its due place in the Muslim community and showing how powerful and beautiful it can be, especially as a way to express your religion and self, and most importantly, get closer to Allah SWT.
